VACUUMSCHMELZE presents new alloy VACOFLUX® 18HR
Hanau / Frankfurt - VACUUMSCHMELZE GmbH & Co. KG (Hanau) presents its new alloy VACOFLUX 18HR, a further demonstration of the company's expertise in developing customer- and applicationoriented materials. VACOFLUX 18HR is the successor to VACOFLUX 17, originally designed for diesel injection applications, and has been significantly improved to comply with the requirements of increasingly highperformance magnetic actuators. The new VACOFLUX 18HR alloy offers 60% higher resistance, significantly reducing eddy currents and thus enhancing the dynamic behaviour of magnetic actuators. These features, coupled with the alloy's ultrahigh saturation induction, open up new possibilities in the optimization and design of highly dynamic actuator systems and electromagnets.

VACUUMSCHMELZE presents new current transformers for electronic electricity meters
Hanau / Frankfurt - Hanau-based VACUUMSCHMELZE GmbH & Co.KG (VAC) will present its proven current transformers for use in electronic electricity meters at the 2008 Metering, Billing & CRM exhibition (22-24 September) in Amsterdam. At Stand H13, VAC will debut its new costoptimized solutions based on its nanocrystalline VITROPERM material. VAC can boast over ten years' experience of manufacturing current transformers, and has amassed significant expertise in that time. Existing and potential customers are welcome to visit the VAC stand and find out more details about the accuracy and reliability of VAC current transformers.

Around this time, VACUUMSCHMELZE GmbH & Co. KG is celebrating the tenth anniversary of its Slovakian site. Which was originally a small company in Piestany, founded by a former VAC employee of Slovakian nationality, was acquired on 17th September 1997 by VACUUMSCHMELZE GmbH & Co. KG and relocated to Horná Streda.
